On June 20, 2021, The Richards Firm volunteered at Krohn Conservatory for the Butterflies of Bali exhibit. For those of you who have never visited the Krohn Conservatory in Cincinnati, Ohio, we highly recommend paying these butterflies a visit between now and September 6, 2021.
The Butterfly exhibit is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for children ages 5 to 17. If you are taking a child under 5 years of age, you still must reserve a ticket though it will not cost you anything.
Ticket information can be found online at https://krohn.ticketspice.com/butterflyshow. This year, the Conservatory has timed viewing and extended evening hours. Tickets are in one-hour increments and guests have 45 minutes to view the butterflies before they move onto the second half of the Conservatory.
The butterfly exhibit has beautiful scenes to take in. It is a fun and interactive experience for the whole family. No matter your interests, you can’t help but smile when a butterfly lands on your shoulder.
The Krohn Conservatory In The Movies
For Hamilton movie buffs, the 1993 film Airborne included a scene shot at the Hamilton Sports Arena, an ice rink that is no longer standing but was located across from Miami’s branch campus in Hamilton. One scene was also shot at Krohn Conservatory in addition to a number of other places on both the Ohio and Kentucky side. Airborne featured a young Seth Green and Jack Black.
The scene at Krohn saw the main character dip behind the waterfall only to reappear in rollerblades to skate by and undoubtedly impress the love interest.
Needless to say, the current Krohn staff did not remember Airborne.
